Club Atlas fantasy kits

Full name: Club Social y Deportivo Atlas
City: Guadalajara
League: La Primera División (Mexico)
Stadium: Jalisco
Fouded: 1916
Shirt sponsor: Akron, Coca Cola, Corona, Sky, Megacable, Aero Mexico
Kit manufacturer: Atletica

Yet another Mexican team, Club Atlas. The task was easier, because i had the base made for the Santos Laguna design, also with Atletica. If I understud well, the "z" is something new on Atlas kits. On my kits there are lots of "z". The design is based on the z features on the sleeves and sides of the shirt and shorts. The colour of those features is a dark shade of red, something between red and black, the colours of Atlas. There are also a touch of white (the trims and logos). I think the colour scheme and the proportion of each colour represents the Atlas badge.
The away kit is all white, black trims and red features on shorts and socks. The z features are dark red only on the sides of the shirt. On the sleeves and shorts are white, but from perforated fabric. The third kit is all black with white trims and dark red z features. The kit clashes with the home one, may be usefull only in games vs teams wearing red-white kits.

F.C. Santos Laguna fantasy kits

Full name: Futbol Club Santos Laguna
City: Torreón
League: La Primera División (Mexico)
Stadium: Estadio Corona
Fouded: 1983
Shirt sponsor: Soriana, Lala, Corona, Pepsi, Penoles, Banamex, Aero Mexico
Kit manufacturer: Atletica

I must admit that I never heard about Santos Laguna before it was requested to do their kits. When I saw the first pictures with them I was impressed. Altough the multitude of sponsors, in different colours, I managed to see the perfect combination between white, green and black. Many will say there's Celtic Glasgow, club with much longer history than Santos Laguna, having the same colous scheme on their kits. But Celtic has more traditional kits, without variations. Santos Laguna had almost all styles: horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, all white without stripes, stripes with white sleeves, gradient coloured stripes, black features (stripes, bands). Innitialy the design was more complex, but when I start to put the logos on, I must simplified id and the result is almost good for Celtic too. Some of the sponsors were left out and some are positioned in different places. ALso the number and the club's crest were positioned on the sides of the shorts, instead of the front. Also the logos on the socks leave so little options to do.
The away kit is same style as the home one, black instead of white, very usefull for the games vs teams wearing all white or striped shirts. The third kit has the colour scheme as the real one, a bit strange combination because it's clashing whit the other two. Anyway I liked this shade of green and I used it too.

World Cup 2010 Group A - games 1 and 2

Long time ago I used to make similar plates for the big tournaments. Then I had lot more free time to write the details and draw the kits worn for each game. Now I don't have so much time, but the technology help us to do faster all kind of things. After I have finished the 32 teams for the World Cup I got an idea to make the plates for each group. Then I thought why not make it for each game, and here are the plates for the first two games. Until the end of the World Cup I decided to post only this plates. My only participation will be at the Copa de Mockups and Campeonato de Mockups competitions. A break at designing (new kits) is necesary, because I get a bit tired.
Shortly I will present one plate, the rest of them will not need any other explanations. The plate will contain the name of the group, the date and the place of the game, the referees, the result and the goal scorers, the line-ups and the managers of the two team. Also an important part of the plate are the kits of the teams, not the real ones but the fantasy designs made by me, respecting as much as possible the colours of the kits worn in the game.
The first game was between South Africa and Mexico:
The second game in the Group A was Uruguay vs France:

Club Deportivo Guadalajara fantasy kits

Full name: Club Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. de C.V.
City: Guadalajara
League: La Primera División (Mexico)
Stadium: Estadio Jalisco
Fouded: 1906
Shirt sponsor: BIMBO, TOYOTA
Kit manufacturer: Reebok

I was always a fan of the Club Deportivo Guadalajara kits. Nice colour combination gave me the pleasure to work at this design. It's something similar to what Reebok produce this days, with big logos on sleeves, shorts sides and back of the socks. The shirt has white and red stripes and the sleeves are dark blue, same as the short and the socks.
Another usual version for the team with white socks (from the away kit).
The away kit has blue shirt, white short and socks, but can be used also in different combination.
An all blue away kit.The third kit is light green, white and black, same design as the home one. The only difference is the black panel on the front of the shirt.

C.F. Monterrey fantasy kits

Full name: Club de Futbol Monterrey A.C.
City: Monterrey
League: La Primera División (Mexico)
Stadium: Estadio Tecnológico
Fouded: 1945
Shirt sponsor: BIMBO, JAVER, CARTA BLANCA, Bancomer, Coca-Cola, KIR, Ruffles
Kit manufacturer: NIKE

Finaly made a requested design, after some World Cup kits. This are the kits for Mexican team C.F. Monterrey. Very complicated task in my oppinion, with strange colour combination and a lots of sponsors (I made to put 7 sponsors, left out the one on the left arm, under the FMF logo, and the one from the socks). I try to balance the colours on the kit and therefore I made the lower part of the shirt and the upper part of the short in red colour. Otherwise the shirt has dark blue and white stripes, the short is dark blue and the socks are red. Because of the multitude of the logos and colours, tried to make the design as simple as possible.
Another used combination for Monterrey is with dark blue socks.
The away kit is all white, only the collar and the trims are blue with red.The third kit is orange with dark blue short, simple design again with white stitches all over.

Mexico World Cup 2010 fantasy kits

Name: Mexico
Confederation: CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football)
Stadium: Estadio Azteca
Kit manufacturer: adidas

The third team made for the next World Cup is Mexico. It's a new design but somehow linked with Marseille and St. Etienne designs (the feature with decreasing adidas stripes). The home kit is traditional green-white-red, but I made two aditional variants used as change option.
For the games against teams with all white kits, this is the option used by Mexican team.
A second variant for the home kit, with white socks, for games vs Colombia or Ecuador.
The away kit has two variants, one with white shirt, white socks and green short, as option for a lots of games(vs France, Netherlands, Japan, Italy...) and one with white short for games vs Spain, Portugal...)
