Athletic Club Bilbao fantasy kits

Full name: Athletic Club Bilbao
City: Bilbao
League: La Liga
Stadium: San Mamés
Founded: 1898
Shirt sponsor: Petronor, BFA DFB
Kit manufacturer: Umbro

A very similar work as the previous, because of the color scheme and the kit maker, but still managed to do some changes and obtain a bit different design. The home kit for Athletic Club from Bilbao is the classic red and white stripes on the shirts, black shorts and socks.
For the away kit I used the color scheme from the home shirt worn at the beginning of the club, blue and white halves (only on the front of the shirt), white shorts and socks.

Real Madrid fantasy kits

Full name: Real Madrid Club de Fútbol
City: Madrid
League: La Liga
Stadium: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu
Fouded: 1902
Shirt sponsor: bwin.com
Kit manufacturer: adidas

These designs are made for my brother, a big Real Madrid fan. The design is based on the original Real Madrid kit, with an oblique stripe. Here the stripe is coloured only in the upper part, on the left shoulder. The adidas three stripes are white as the kit and can be seen only in the parts where intersect the dark blue trims and the oblique stripe.
The away kit is dark blue with golden three stripes on the sides of the shirt, shorts and socks. The three stripes on the sleeves are in the same colour as the shirt. The oblique stripe is darker shade of blue than the main colour, also the trims. The third kit for Real is not so necesary, and often clashes with the away kit (regarding the colours, all dark coloured kit), therefore is presented and used as European kit. I choosed a lighter shade of purple for the shirt and darker shade for shorts and socks and trims aswell. The three stripes are white.

Real Betis Seville fantasy kits

Full name: Real Betis Balompié S.A.D.
City: Seville
League: Segunda División
Stadium: Manuel Ruiz de Lopera
Fouded: 1907
Shirt sponsor: Andalucia (fantasy)
Kit manufacturer: Kappa (fantasy)

I know that Real Betis are no longer playing in Kappa kits for the second season, but in my oppinion the Kappa style suited very well this club for many years. Therefore I used the design made for Borussia Dortmund. Also the sponsor is not present on their shirts. The home kit is green and white striped shirt, white shorts and green and white socks.
The away kit is all green (two shades of green) same design as the home one.
The third kit has blue shirt with white sleeves and black round neck and trims. Also the shorts are black, and the socks are blue and white with black turnovers.

Copa Do Mundo de Mockups kits

With great joy I present my participation to Copa Do Mundo de Mockups, organised by a kits design comunity called Mockups de Camisas de Futebol.
Here is the link for the blog were the competition was hosted: http://copademockups.blogspot.com/2010/07/final-copa-do-mundo-de-mockups.html
The theme of the competition was the World Cup 2010, and I had the task to make the home and away kit for Italy.
The design is the transposition of this one made for the World Cup project . The presentation was mandatory on the template used by all the 32 participants.
http://footballkitsdesign.blogspot.com/2010/01/italy-world-cup-2010-fantasy-kits.html
The competition was based on the real World Cup game style, 8 groups with 4 teams each. In every group the teams are played against each other, and the votes of the 32 participants represented the final score for every game. After the group stage followed the las of 16, the quarter-finals and the semi-finals. After the semi-finals were played, the two finalist had the task to made the kits for one of the two real finalist (Spain and Netherlands), the same for third place play-off game (Uruguay and Germany). Therefore I made the designs for Spain.
This is a version for the away kit that was not posted, I was not sure wich of the two away kit to chose.
This is the original design on wich is based the one used in the Final.
http://footballkitsdesign.blogspot.com/2010/03/spain-world-cup-2010-fantasy-kits.html
And here is the stamp wich shows that I won the competition.
It was an interesting competition with lots of good designs. I want to thank to the organizers and to the competitors to for choosing my designs as the winner. Also about this competition and other news and information about kits designs you can read (if you understand Portuguese) here:

Atletico Madrid fantasy kits

Full name: Club Atlético de Madrid, S.A.D.
City: Madrid
League: La Liga
Stadium: Vicente Calderón
Founded: 1903
Shirt sponsor: KIA, KYOCERA
Kit manufacturer: NIKE

There is no more appropriate occasion than this to present the kits of Atletico Madrid, the fresh winner of first Europa League trophy. The design for Atletico was made some time ago, but now after they delighted me in the final game, I manged to finish the work and post it. There are two kind of kits, the home kit has the second sponsor on the back of the shirt and the Spanish La Liga badges on the sleeves, and the away kit is presented as European kit, without sponsor on the back and with Europa League badges. The home kit is composed of red and white striped shirt, with red and white collar, blue short and red socks.
A second version of the home kit with red short, is often used by Atletico in games vs teams wearing blue.
The away kit has blue shirt with dark blue sleeves and collar, dark blue short and blue socks.

F.C. Barcelona fantasy kits

Full name: Futbol Club Barcelona
City: Barcelona
League: La Liga
Stadium: Camp Nou
Fouded: 1899
Shirt sponsor: unicef (sponsored by F.C. Barcelona)
Kit manufacturer: Nike

This is the first design from a new series, a new presentation (not new for me, somehow I return to the style I designed in the past). I have already sketches for Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Celtic Glasgow, Arsenal and Red Star Belgrade (all Nike teams). The approach on this new kits will be more classic then my usual designs. On this Barcelona kit I used the darker shade of red as it was last season (not a fan of red and blue combination).
The away kit is sky blue shirt with thin pinstripes on the front and back (not on shoulders and sleeves) with dark red line on the sides. The short and the socks are dark blue with dark red. This pair of kits needs a third kit, something in orange or yellow colour to be used in games vs teams wearing blue. But in first step there will be only home and away kits for this series.

Spain World Cup 2010 fantasy kits

Name: Spain
Federation: Royal Spanish Football Federation
Confederation: UEFA (Europe)
Founded: 1909
Kit manufacturer: adidas

With this team a manage to do half of my project. The 16th team is Spain. Kind of retro design, with the return of the black socks. The shirt is red with three yellow horizontal stripes on the left side and on the lower part of the sleeves. The yellow stripes are made each from other three stripes. This feature is present on the blue short and on the socks also.
A variant of the home kit with blue socks, as they wear some years ago.
The away kit has blue shirt with red trims on sleeves and yellow stripes. The short and socks can be white or blue.
An all blue version for second choice (away games).

Valencia C.F. fantasy kits

Full name: Valencia Club de Fútbol
City: Valencia
League: La Liga
Stadium: Mestalla
Fouded: 1919
Shirt sponsor: UNIBET
Kit manufacturer: Kappa

This is a design for Valencia C.F., a bit unusual for this club. The home kit is traditional white-black-white, with black diagonal stripes on shirt and hoops on socks.
A second version of the home kit - all white.
The away kit has a combination of two black shades on shirt and socks with orange short. An all black varsion of the away kit.
The third kit is all orange with black diagonal stripes on shirt and hoops on socks. As Valencia us to play in a lot of combinations of colours, this kits can be also combined between them.
